Weekly Collective Grieving Group coming soon
Grief is not a weakness to hide in the dark, but a primary, vital experience of life to be reclaimed.
When we lose the ritual of grief,
we inadvertently lose the rhythm that connects us to life.
The result is an unquenchable thirst and emptiness.
Starting with the awareness that we are living through a time of profound uncertainty and collective upheaval. War, genocide, displacement, ecological crisis, and a rapidly changing world can evoke grief, fear, helplessness, anger, and a terror that gives birth to a deep questioning of how we are to live in the midst of so much suffering and change.
This 12-week group is an invitation to first and formost slow down and make space for these experiences within each of us, to sit together with what feels impossible to sit with alone rather than rushing to resolve, fix, or transcend it. Drawing from the work of Carl Jung, Francis Weller, Ram Dass, and others who have explored grief, compassion, presence, and the human experience of impermanence, we will explore how we might remain open to both the sorrow and the beauty of being alive, together.
Together, we will practice bearing witness, tending to our grief, and finding ways to stay connected, to ourselves, to one another, and to the living world, even when the future feels uncertain.
This is an experiential group, that will meet once a week, for 90 minutes. Sessions will include activities to access our unconscious as well as time to process what was uncovered in our small community within the group.
A commitment to all 12 sessions will be required, and a brief consultation will take place prior to enrollment, followed by a full individual session to explore what you are hoping to gain from the group and whether this group is an appropriate fit for your current needs.
Grief is not the enemy of wellbeing, it is the doorway.
When we allow ourselves to feel it, grief gives us access to our most vulnerable parts,
and it is there, in that tenderness, that we find our capacity to love, connect, and truly live.
A grief tending workshop,
a space to gather, and remember that we were never meant to carry sorrow alone.
