Rasha Shalaby, LMFT – PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Rasha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Psychodynamically trained and certified in EMDR, she supports folks through profound and often lonely transitions, caused by grief and loss, aging, and end of life, and accompanies those seeking existential psychic exploration through Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness (NOSC).
She also holds a passion for couples work, where many of these themes play out relationally. Her focus includes trauma as it pertains to surviving genocide and torture, and the ensuing psychic wounds.
Her work blends relational depth with emotional immediacy. She brings a Jungian orientation to the symbolic and spiritual dimensions of a life alongside the present and practical work of trauma processing through EMDR and somatic healing.
Together, these perspectives allow her to bring an integrative approach to the work, one that attends to the mind, the body, one’s relationships, and the deeper dimensions of the psyche.
Rasha is also a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and Breathwork Healer, disciplines that ground her clinical work in the human here and now of the breath, heart, and nervous system.
But most importantly, Rasha views her work with each individual as a sacred journey, one she feels honored to walk alongside. She offers a warm, judgment-free space that recognizes and awakens her client’s innate capacity to heal.
