Open-hearted liberation is the destination, awakening is the process, and suffering is the fire purifier.
To truly experience joy, we need connection.
To experience connection, we need to allow for vulnerability.
And to access vulnerability, we inevitably will enter loss and grief.
This is the fire that purifies.
Therefore, if we close our hearts to the suffering of others, our connection also shrinks and we wither.
To be connected to the loss of a bird or to the genocide in Gaza, Sudan, or the Congo is our point of contact with our soul.
Together we walk this path of awakening to our inner guide while recognizing the systems that aim to dominate our outer psychic space.
